About Adam Ellis:

Adam Ellis is a lifelong entrepreneur with a career squarely focused on making manufacturers more efficient with the use of technology. As a consultant, he was renowned for his ability to understand business challenges and arrive at transformative solutions. As a CEO, his hands-on approach and empathetic leadership style have fostered cohesive, high-performing teams, driving a culture of excellence and collaboration.

Throughout his career, Adam has demonstrated a remarkable ability to identify emerging market trends and translate them to game-changing solutions for his customers. From automated Business Intelligence tools in the early 2000s to low-code tools focused on shop floor optimizations to his latest endeavour focused on transforming the CNC machining industry with a revolutionary hardware + software co-pilot for machinists.

Adam holds a degree in Management Information Systems from The University of Akron and has lived in Northeast Ohio his entire life. Beyond his professional endeavors, Adam is a husband of 22 years to his wife Nicole and father to his 9 year old daughter, Charlotte.

About Hunter Heiferling:

Mark J. Heiferling, referred to as “Hunter,” has slightly over 28 years of experience in data communications, intelligent computing, radio communications, systems integrations, product designs and IT systems with major firms in the past such as: Leasing Dynamics ,Wang Labs, Data General, Western Union, Noise Cancellation Technologies, Kindex , Competitive Technologies, Technology Integrators, and currently Bluetronix Inc. He has been in `“C” level for three firms and VP and a Director of several others. Credentials include: a BA in Economics, Master of Science in Technology Management MS, an MBA, Six Sigma Black Certification, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and QFD-Quality Functional Deployment certifications. His experiences range from an inventor, manager, SW/HW development, product designer, operations/project manager, entrepreneurial ventures, and technology integrations. He has designed over twenty-eight different designed products & services and was one the original innovators of Active Noise Cancellation with a design for a synch to time off engines and machines that was awarded US and foreign patent. .Mr. Heiferling was selected for the Presidential Small Business Commission United States of America award for the State of Ohio by George W Bush. In 2012 he received Defense Advanced Projects Agency (DARPA) Small Business Innovative Success Award for seven years of successful R&D for DARPA, and the Defense Dept. He has been involved in renowned world-wide research development in active noise cancellation ANC (one of the founding designers of the Active Noise Cancellation algorithms for timing of engine using a patented synch), intelligent computing, machine learning (specifically reinforcement learning designs for several patent awards ), Edge Computing and various forms of ML/AI forms of Artificial Intelligence for, for system’s optimization. He is an inventor, entrepreneur, manager, scientist, author, designer, and an adjunct professor. Six-time multiple SBIR Small Business Innovation Research award winner, & two-time R&D NASA, Army, AF contract winner and principal investigator. .He is one the original designers of swarm intelligence and various forms of AI and ML.

About Joe Work:

Joe Work serves as a Senior Growth Advisor at MAGNET, where he has worked for 6 years. He focuses on custom automation systems with a wide variety of manufacturing clients across Northeast Ohio. In addition, he heads up MAGNET’s Industry 4.0 and its internal IT initiatives. Prior to joining MAGNET, Joe held positions with Belcan Automation as GM / VP / Program Manager, and in Eaton Corporation’s Manufacturing Technology Center Controls Engineering Group. He holds a BSEE from Cleveland State University and an MBA from Lake Erie College.
